Looks as though only games shown on Sky next season will be watchable via Mariners TV for overseas supporters (and those in the UK with a VPN).

Seems a bit of a backwards step, but presumably Sky have had a hand in the decision as part of the new deal. Bit disappointing, especially to those who genuinely are abroad - no change in price.

I think you have interpreted that wrong, it says international fans can watch all* League 2 and Trophy games.

*Excludes any potential play-off games and the semi-final and final of the Leasing.com Trophy

My interpretation is that anyone who lives abroad can be watch all our games, but it's really poor that UK-based fans can't watch midweek games and late kick offs. Massive thanks to those who waved that deal through for that one.

SKY BET are the sponsors of the league

SKY SPORTS are the broadcaster showing the matches.

That's how I interpret it, apart from for UK based I don't think it's a step backwards because I thought I saw that Sky will have every game available that isn't a 3pm kick off? So all Tuesday night games etc will be on their Sky Player App. So basically the same as last season.

Whether it's a backwards step or not depends on how much it will cost to watch those games that are on the Sky Player app.

Since I live in the USA, I immediately went to check this out, and I agree with James that all the league games will still be available live to overseas subscribers, regardless of whether they are televised in the UK or not. I'm still wondering where, how, and if televised football league games will be available for viewing in the US this coming season, but that won't affect the availability of Town games to Mariners TV subscribers.

Yep, agree with all of the above - I read it as “all Sky League Two matches”, as opposed to “Sky Bet League Two matches”.

My mistake, it’s been a long day (with a ranging hangover), so apologies if any consternation caused.

One thing I’m a bit concerned about is that they talk about people who ‘live’ overseas rather than ‘are’ overseas and I’m wondering if it’s a way of stopping the use of VPNs.
‘ Please note that match passes will be available to supporters who live overseas only at the usual cost of £10 per game.’
E.g. could a uk based subscriber be denied access even when ‘on holiday in France’ based on their registered address?
Anyone know if this is new terminology or am I just paranoid?
