Think he's been working at the club for a while. Remember something a few months ago.

Seems to have been announced in March, although wiki says Aug 2023. I must have missed it.

Reading his twitter, looks like he's earned his A licence coach recently. No idea of the quality of second tier. semi-pro Australian but didn't seem to do too badly out there. Hopefully one to watch for the future, always liked him.

Think we’ve done ok to be honest in recent years considering the club has been going through some long overdue changes. A few sold on and a prospect in the current first team squad.

It was announced some time ago and he did a brilliant interview with the club on MarinersTV. He earned the AFC equivalent of the UEFA A Licence whilst out there, but UEFA won't accept it as an equivalent qualification so he has had to do his UEFA licences too!

In twenty years how many lads have progressed from youth teams to the senior team ? I’d suggest not many , maybe a poor comparison but if you compared us to the likes of Crewe similar sized club id  say we’re well behind

“In recent years” was the timeline I refferd to, Pollock, Grist, Burrell all sold for fees in the last 3 years & Gardner now in the first team squad. Maybe not a production line.

Crewe are a similar sized club but I’m not sure how many years Crewe spent in non league in the last 20 either.
