Looks like either we are adding some temporary seating or they have changed the ticket format as there are overflow options now around the corners .

It’s not additional seating; it’s to enable new wannabe season ticket holders to purchase a ticket in the stand of their choice at the early bird price, with seat numbers to be allocated once the deadline for renewals has passed (assuming they become available).

On the surface it’s a policy which makes things fairer for those who haven’t already got a season ticket. At the same time, I think it’s also a move by the club to put a bit of pressure on those currently on the fence who were planning to see how things go. In essence, if you don’t renew by the deadline your seat might already be gone and it’s the back of the Main Stand or the Osmond for you.

That's the way I read it. You get put on a 'reserve' list, so I don't think there is any new seating. The plan is a bit misleading.

Anyone know (before I phone ticket office) how you apply Mariners Lottery/Mariners Trust discounts if you are buying online?

Just give them your name, they have a book with all the Trust/Gold Bond members in it and they'll just cross reference your name with the book.

It also feels like a good way to quantify potential demand for extra seating as well though.

Anyone else finding the season ticket option isn't even showing up at all?

Earlier on i had one pc where they showed as an option and could get through to the seat selection map, and one where any mention of season tickets wasn't there. Seems the ticketing IT is crap yet again.

At the moment season tickets are simply not showing up.

Can anyone give me a benefit of being a Trust member that you don’t get as a STH so I can justify the effort of rejoining in order to make a net saving of around a fiver on my ST?

The choice is buy one of the vacant seats now or  put you name down for the overflow seats which you won’t know if  you will get one until July . Very few vacant seats to buy now and less worse ones going first. Still think we will sell 6000.

If your ST is only £100 then no benefit .If it's £270 as the seniors is then it saves £13.50

Anyone any update on how you get the trust discount? Last year you had to email the trust to get a code.

No wonder they have added that overflow option, there is basically no - non restricted views (there are some single seats ) it would be a nightmare if you were a first time buyer and needed more than one seat together .

Hypothetically if the majority renew , there will not be any room for many of these new overflow seat people to get seats together still .

What would happen then ?

Maybe they have a temporary stand ready to order from these guys https://gleventsstadia.co.uk/ ?

However, I'm expecting alot of existing ST holders to not renew, we've averaged 15% + no-shows and this time last year the energy and Trussonomics impact on monthly bills hadn't hit. I think we'll settle down at a more typical 10%-12% no shows average with 5k STH

Yes , I expect  similiar .

I wonder if the clubs system allows to see the amount of games people have attended ?

Because near me two reserved seats have not been sat in (and these are a prime view) all season , so either they have bought them as some sort of donation ,which is very admirable but surely there would be a better way .Or it is some sort of system error .

I would expect a fair few new ones as well with regulars who had to sit at the back of the main or wherever , so it will be interesting to see how it balances out .

Wimbledon game home areas completely sold out which may prompt those in two minds to renew.

My ST seat is the opposite. There has been no reserved sticker on it for 2 seasons and I have had the same seat as a ST holder for nearly 20 seasons!
Renewed my ST today and, being 75 last month, I got it for £225 - bargain.

£361 for mine with the booking fee still good value I think , I wish time away enough hoping i make it to 'ancient mariner ' status £100 quid then ! you have 5 more years to do Rancido .

Seems like the reserved stickers maybe get muddled then .

A seat in front of us has not been sat in all season, do not know why, but seat to our right the ticket holder does not use it but goes else where in the stand and stands with his mates at the back..

If only 10-12 % don’t renew then they will all be snapped up by new season ticket holders seeking seats together with  a reasonable view. Still predicting 6k

If we do hit 5.8-6k ST sales again then surely its time unreserved safe standing in the Imp or Harrington Corner - it would add to both ST sales and walk-ups for people that would rather do that. Me included - I even stand in front of my laptop for work now. Standing desks are on the rise in the workplace, the health benefits are nailed on proven. It's completely backward denying people the right to stand at football if they want to.
