Eastleigh have signed Lee Cook (Winger), he made 40 appearances scoring 8 goals in his first 14 games last season for Barnet as they won the Conference title and a Football League return.

He has also played for Watford making his league appearance against Grimsby Town, he also played for QPR in the Championship and Leyton Orient in League One.

I looked upon Cook as an outstanding signing for Barnet, I think he actually approached them to play for them, however he was a passenger against us last season contributing very little.

I was impressed with him last season (b4 he got sent off!) after not being so when he was in a Nuneaton shirt.

At 23 he could develop further.

Scottish Premier Division sides  seem to be targeting Conference/League 2 players??. Possibly more money on offer???

Deal done Louis Moult gone to Motherwell for undisclosed fee (rumours of up to £150K) - as you say that's a blow to their hopes but they should have something in the kitty to replace him.

"Pound for pound, and class for class, the best football team I have seen in England since the war. In the league they were in they played football nobody else could play. Everything was measured, planned and perfected and you could not wish to see more entertaining football." Bill Shankly, Manager GTFC 1951-54
