Word of mouth, I've said before these players deserve our support, back the lads by getting friends, family and those ever important floating fans back to BP.


Supporting the Mighty Mariners for over 30 years, home town club is were the heart and soul is and it's great to be a part of it.

I wish I could get up to Grimsby more often,

I have Braintree, Cambridge and Dartford to look forward to,

Get town promoted by packing the park every home match.
Win all our home games win a few away plus some draws will see us back where we belong.

GET THE TELEGRAPH ON BORED FIRST ! then think about getting rid of or getting someone who can play the drum (without being rude)  then think about stewards that look after home fans rather than telling them to sit down when they are stood at the back of the stands. (yet they still allow away fans to do this)

Then after this oh the bloody world will end ...............

OH sadly get to grips it wont happen :/ but fair play for trying

4,300 against Wrexham and didn't we get 4,000 plus V Luton and V Forest Green and V Mansfield? Aim for 6,000 might get 5,000 instead but that's more than we are getting.

2006 is history, different year, different league, different management, different squad. This is our season and that's the way we SHOULD be looking at it. We are not HAVE fear, we are TO BE feard. UTM.

I agree we should keep it in the North East Lincs area very prominatly, which Grimsby Town are in.

The last third of the season will be very difficult indeed. Games will just pass by and sooner or later we will be at the end of the season.

We need a campaign to keep everybody on their toes to support the club at every home and away game that supporters can get to.

3397 v Mansfield, 4074 v Luton, 3270 v FGR.

Had 4009 v Dartford, before going back to just over 3k for Macclesfield after losing to Dartford and Kiddy in the cup.

Quite clear our average is around 3400, and is only going to rise if we keep winning games, but will soon drop again if we lose home games like in October. I think 6k is too much except towards the end of the season if we are still up there. However no reason we can't get well over 4k a match from Jan onwards especially if we do well over Christmas.

I agree with your figures.

The only way that we will get those attendances is by continuing to perform on the pitch.

Jumping up and down, designing  facebook pictures, declaring that we are targetting 6000 or whayever. . . You might as well p1ss in the wind!

What I was trying to say that we need to be the twelfth man home and away.  If we can take 1700+ to Lincoln and 1200+ Mansfield over the Christmas period, lets make every away game a home game, the invasion of the Black and White army on the march to promotion.  The travelling support so far has been brilliant, gives the players a lift seeing so many making the effect.
