Big shame, he's a very good player at this level but we can't do anything about it.

Should concentrate on getting Hannah and Pond signed up now as I think those two really have been vital to our success so far.

Good luck to him, never thought we'd keep him. He's been quality during his time here even though he can be frustrating at times when he keeps it when a cross/pass is the better option. Down to S&H to get an equally good replacement, it won't be easy, but they've done it before.

Hammonds from NLP has Neilson to Luton down as a done deal, transfer not loan. Soares, colbeck nor Southwell add up to Neilson in terms of ability so it is worrying. Lets take six points off Lincoln and get some quality in January!

He was in many ways the perfect example of what the loan system was intended for,

we benefit from a player arguably of a higher calibre for a couple of months

he puts himself in the shop window and maybe earns a contract somewhere

For me he would have been an ill advised permanent signing. First couple of games he was different class and brought a different dimension to our football. Of late..sending off for petulant reasons and like tonight...when he had the ball he played like an individual, too many twists and turns, ambitious shots, over doing it.

Good loanee, thank you...and that goal where you broke from our half and streaked past the Findus and a few defenders....superb...but if comes to a deal....personally...i am out.

Yep, agree agin. Still, probably doesn't come across as a 'great thinker' of a man, despite his obvious skill. Sure he will end up a Luton, and I will laugh when they lose in the play offs and we go up automatically.

Last night he clearly tried too hard to score in a nice send-off sort of way. Wish him well for the future - he's done us no harm - just hope he doesn't do us any harm in the future.

No different to signing a pre contractual agreement with a team when your contracts running out. As long as you can't play the footballer until the window opens, I don't see a problem. I would assume we've been trying to do a similar deal with Hannah.
