having recently participated in a disscusion regarding the lady arrested for racial abuse, it reminded me of some comments i read recently on facebook. we where due to play york city. i wont mention the title of the full name of the facebook account athough it did have the name grimsby in the title and a picture of a town player as the profile pic. like many of you that where outraged by the ladies alleged racist abuse, i was appauled at what this person had written about yorkshire people. chanting it at games is one thing (which i also find racist and disgusting) but actually putting on a facebook page whilst looking like you have a connection to the club is appauling. the comment was. 'the yorkshire ripper is our freind he kills yorkies'.i'm pretty sure the author of such an ill judged comment was not around when the yorkshire ripper was at large. it was an horrendous time and not a subject that should be made light of

after recent interaction on this forum i have come to the conclusion that most of the individuals that contribute are here for a bit of needle and an argument and cannot get involved in a debate without being offensive or offering a valid come back to a reasonable comment. i dont know the person behind the facebook remarks. i,m well aware that i can block them. (thanks for that brilliant peice of information)and for anyboddy to make light of the remarks is frankly not worth giving the time of day too. so thankyou and good night. this forum is not for me

How can you get into a debate with somebody trying to defend a racist? There is no debate because your wrong.
So why start the thread in the 1st place?why not wait untill all details from what did or did not happen before trying to start a debate?Some people like to get all the details and finding out the truth before starting a witchhunt thread!This will probably the same debate that we,,ll see when prior to john terry has his day in court! |

Because Pontoonlew is a drama queen and likes winding people up. He's hoping someone body will write a letter after an event so he can apologise to every man and his dog about brutal and horrible Town fans. |
