Last season we took over 600 but the team forgot to turn up: I never went to another game that season because of the way we played that day, they didn't give a sh1t.

The trams weren't running either, always fancied going to watch THE TOWN on a tram!

I hate balderdash threads like this. So Fleetwood are tinpot and nothing because they get smaller crowds than us. What did everyone think when Sheff Wed and Wolves were calling us tinpot in the Championship because we only got 6k crowds?

Fleetwood population of 26,840 average attendance of 1,827 = 6.8% of population.
Grimsby population of 87,574 average attendance of 3,236 = 3.7% of population.

Unfortunately, it is us who have the poor support and I haven't included Cleethorpes which would've made our figures much worse.

Crikey, had no idea Fleetwood was that small. That makes it roughly half the size of Boston!

Lets face it we can call them small, they are smaller than us, Wolves Sheff Wed ect can call us small ect, i wouldn't mind being in the Championship right now.

I cannot understand the fixation some on here have with other clubs attendances, I just get the feeling they must be sad little beggars eagerly awaiting confirmation of the crowd so they can rush to have a moan on here.

So they got 1,411 who gives a fwck, I bet the 1400 or so Fleetwood fans are really upset that was all they got and are bitterly disappointed they are top of the league and looking like they may be a league 2 club next year.

I bet some are saying right now that they wish they could trade places with Grimsby Town just because we can get 3,000 or so.

that statisic is useless...and this is why...

population of wigan = 80,000
average attendance = 20,000

does that mean 1/4 attends home games?

think about it

I've thought about it and would assume that as they are in the real Premier League then a good part of their attendances are made up of away club fans, unlike GTFC in the godforsaken Premier League when we are lucky to get a 100 visiting fans.
