Gnahoua technically is probably one of the best in the squad.  He looks after the ball very well and is also a real grafter.  But his end product is non existent.  We need people further up the pitch who are going to hurt teams.

You can read between the lines Artell's thoughts on his injuries whenever he's asked what the situation with him is.  I would honestly be shocked if we offer him a new deal.

Something that's been non exsistent in his career which is probably why he spent so long in the national league because technically he's very very good, can imagine he's horrible to play against five a side

Definitely!  I was really impressed the first games with him but then soon thought he looked better suited to Futsal than 11-a-side football!

Ultimately just doesn't do enough to hurt teams.  Can see why Hurst signed him as he's very much in the Joe Colbeck mould of a very hard working winger who will run his legs off and protect his full-back.  But we need players who create/score in his position.

You've got the extreme in Abo Eisa who still has decent high level numbers despite a virtually non existent final third of the season.  9 goals and 4 assists from 2259 minutes (contribution every other game).  But his workrate is absolutely shocking and one of those players who if he isn't scoring will offer you very little, early doors he got away with it as he had the golden touch.  Surprises me that Hurst has signed him 3 times.

He likes the odd 1 and get's the others grafting around them

It will be interesting to see at what level a team picks Eisa up as his underlying numbers are good - possibly a lower end league 2 club ?

Suspect Arthur will head to NL

How do you know this please?

As far as I can gather, these are just rumours that have been spread on the Fishy. Does anybody have any facts about Wilson wanting to leave?

DA said on the press conference after the window shut that Wilson was due to leave but Crawley didn't file the paperwork in time.

Was Wilson desperate to leave though, or was it more a case that he felt he had to because he wasn't getting a game? (This was around the time Obikwu was coming on and looking like a competition winner).

Interesting that Artell was happy for Wilson to leave in Jan, which was opposed by many on here as we had so few options. That judgment of Artell was proved wanting as we used him numerous times after that and in fact for the vital game against Swindon we'd have had no strikers at all if he'd been allowed to walk away. Doesn't film me with any more confidence about his judgment than our results have to be honest.
