At least we won’t face Haaland and City them until the semi- final or final.

If so we may need to rethink our defensive strategy.

No doubt Haaland is a very good player, however, he plays in a team that creates an awful lot of chances and he gets away with using his arms to pull back defenders for some strange reason.  90% of his goals are questionable but the EPL employs weak referees.

Erling Haaland becomes first player ever to score 35 goals in a Premier League season with dink against West Ham tonight.

When Leeds trainer Les Cocker was once told Norman Hunter had broken a leg, he asked: “Whose is it?”

I reckon Harry Kane would have scored 35 League goals in a season if he'd joined Man City the other year. Probably would have taken him more than 31 games, however!

Haaland is being paid a vast amount of money, but he is certainly earning it.

As Gary Neville noted on the commentary, they are a flipping big team these days with loads of height. Guardiola has certainly moved on from his tiki-taka teams with diminutive players.

He is English!

It works both ways, we got Owen Hargreaves through similar rules...

I only found out today that Evan Ferguson’s mum is English - so we miss out on another one. Surely Southgate could have approached him before he played for Ireland?

Oh well, we did get Grealish and Rice, but they’re about as Irish as Yorkshire Pudding in reality.

Likewise the more advantages you have to your game the better.Take Harry Clifton for example. Good engine on him but if he was up against hypothetically the likes of Patrick Viera or Yaya Toure  he would get bullied . The likes of Iniesta and  Xavi are small by comparison but they had excellent technique developed at  Barcelona's youth team live in headquarters La Masia  which Xavi admitted had it not been for that nurturing would have never developed into the excellent player he was to become.

One life,one love .
