McAtee & Clifton working well up there but often let down by the 3 in midfield when we need a touch of quality to cut through.

Plenty to like but we need a bit more bite

Only ourselves to blame again if we don't win this one as they are very limited. Oh for a midfielder who could consistently pass the ruddy ball.

Who's the other 3 in midfield?  I thought it was holohan and Morris with them 2 ahead of them behind Lloyd

Well you can see what we’re trying to do but we just need to do it better.

If this isn’t a game for Hunt, what is? Too many loose balls and touches from Holohan and Morris - needs to be tidier.

I don't think they are awful. They are fit, nippy and have a plan which is to get it forward quickly and have won a lot of possession in the middle.

Not much of a threat from them other than one or two pieces, thankfully, and we created some nice chances during the second part of the half. I just hope we don't rue the missed opportunities though there weren't really any sitters.

The referee hasn't been too bad but is one of those who seems to think that might is right so lets big defenders manhandle smaller forwards, mostly with impunity but then blows up whenever they try to give something back the other way.

According to the Scunny thread, RH said that Mullin conned the ref for the penalty.  Surprise, suprise.  Surely not every ref misses his dives, or may there be some sort of reward for giving Wrexham a penalty, allegedly?

Lloyd trying hard but getting bullied out of the game and getting nothing from the ref. I can see Taylor coming on for him depending on how many minutes he can last. We've been OK but a bit ponderous and need to be a bit sharper. Several times we've had chances to get a ball in but pulled it back for another player to play exactly the same ball in but an important second or two later. Bit odd that.

We sang that on Saturday but there is nothing at BP tonight (that I can hear on the tv)
