If we had had a glamorous draw we would be out now and I wouldn’t be having to plan a midweek winter break in the least attractive Town/ City on the south coast. . Just searched Southampton Attractions No 1 a stadium tour at St Mary’s.

The only things I knew about Southampton were the football club, The Titanic and The Mayflower.

After a very lengthy trawl through Google…the only things I know about Southampton are the football club, The Titanic and The Mayflower…and Craig David was born there.

It’s got a population of over 250k and is in the top 25 largest cities in the UK.

No wonder they have a problem with recruitment. Tommy Widdrington must have thought he’d made it when he rocked up at BP in his M3.

Well I've just booked a fifty note refundable Travelodge for the Tuesday on the off-chance and I'm a glass empty type.
Money back if we don't get past Luton and changeable if it's Monday or Wednesday.

What am I missing here Feb 27 kick off 3pm. Is it a Bank Holiday?

'I walked in the dressing room. The window was open and I thought that a sea fret had got in. Then I saw smoke billowing from a pipe in the corner of the room...it was my centre-forward. He looked seven stone wet through. He went on to score thirty-odd goals that season.' Lawrie McMenemy on encountering the legend that was Matt Tees.

It says on the BBC website the game is a 15.00 kick off on the 25th Feb. Who’s got it wrong?

Matt Le Tissier is already tweeting it’s a conspiracy.

Mixed emotions on this one but not even thinking about it yet as we've got to beat Luton first. If we get knocked out it's irrelevant who we've got in the next round.
