Deffo Wigan please. Decent away allocation, short train ride for me and we would have McAtee available

Plus Wigan are beatable at the moment

Quoted from grimps

Luton had a great side in the 80s but I’ve never seen them as a bigger club than us.
It wasn't long ago when Luton were in the conference eg 2014  season and look at where they now . Just of the play off spots in the championship and got into the play offs last season. Nice to see from a football point of view a club coming back up from the doldrums to be punching above their weight in a very competitive league that is the championship.

Luton would be a bad draw for every reason that you can think of.

After the initial shock of not getting a big team or home draw, there are advantages in playing Wigan.  Ok, we do not make big money or get on TV.

The location is better than say having to travel to Southampton or Reading away.  The away end can accommodate all Town fans that want to go.  We have a much better chance of reaching Round 5 than having a glamour tie.

Wigan are bottom of the Championship, in a poor run of form with a big  goal difference against.  They have survival on their minds rather than beating us.  Being one place above Plymouth they may swop divisions next season.  We have deservedly beaten 3 Div 1 teams.  Like the playoffs, we excel in sudden death KO matches, (We beat Plymouth 5-1).

We should be confident, from all our own recent successes. And from the results and performances of Wrexham, Chesterfield and Stevenage against Championship clubs and a PL club.

Whatever happens next we have made the last 32 and should be damn proud of that - beating 3 League 1 teams alone is remarkable

And as we know in Football - anything is possible - we could still see our beloved Club in the last 16 - now that would be something!!

Whether it is Luton or Wigan the lads will give it their all and we will be backed by a minimum of 1000 fans

Come On town Lets Have It!!!

I see Luton beating Wigan, but if the Latics win, I dare say their away end must hold 3000 fans or something, so everyone who wants to go, could do so. We could defo win that!

If Wigan do get through then we’d at least have a bumper following to reward our players’ efforts in the competition and you just never know.
