Liked to chalky’s fact above about the Titanic.

Not sure these are all facts, but views expressed on a key historical tragedy.  The Titanic would probably have stayed afloat if it could have hit the iceberg head-on where the structure was very strong.

Coupling up to the iceberg ( which was floating and stable) would have enabled people to find
Temporary sanctuary on the ice (with suitable protective covers and clothing).

Ok, non-football, but Scunthorpe are sinking faster than the Titanic into deep, dark, icy cold  
waters.

Further research into this story reveals that former Town reserve goalkeeper John Lukic jr is now a doctor. One of the more illustrious post-Town careers.
