The two left back thing didn’t work and the midfield 3 were all off the pace for some reason, not just Green. Glennon was too far away from Amos yet wasn’t delivering quality balls in, whereas in the second half he was good. Harry was the standout all game though along with Smith. At this level you cannot undervalue his outstanding energy levels.

It’s interesting isn’t it in his first spell and for a period when Hurst came back he was accused of being turgid and unimaginative but he’s clearly trying some different things with the improved talent he has at his disposal but the important thing is he’s trusting his players which will be massive for their belief.

Think Tuesday is a joke.
Play first teamers who need game time plus youths who are promising
If we lose 4-0 who cares?

Why don’t we just play two up front from the start and skip the agony phase.?
Surely we are strong enough in midfield and defence now to do this.

Don't you have to play so many first team players who featured in last game or some stupid rule like that..

Had an early look at the league table, we’ve conceded the same as only two other clubs who are right at the top, however we’ve only scored more than three others who are at the bottom. Almost Buckleyesque in our efficiency. Win our game in had and we’re in the playoffs

Batch, Crombie, Moore K, Wiggington, Cumming, Waters, Bonnyman, Ford, Emson, Drinkell, Whymark. Love you all, You are the reason I'm on here. You've had help from Todd, Handyside, Futcher P, Groves, Mendonca, Macca etc etc etc. Up The Mariners!!!!!!!!!

Based on the fixtures I predicted we’d be on 6 points after 6 games, out of the Cup in the first round and Waterfall banned for 2 years when the FA found out his skull is made of Kevlar.

We’re on 8 points, with a game in hand. Made a bit of money from the cup ‘run’ and I’m loving it.

Very proud of the club, players, management team, fans…and the Fishy. What a forum.

Was disappointing when Hursty started playing Crocombe instead of Macca last season at first but he's really come into his own. Good to see. Love his long kicks and general distribution and a decent shot stopper to boot.

Crocombe commands the the box, if defenders know that their goalie is going to come and catch most of the crosses coming into the box makes defending a lot easier.  Unfortunately it was one aspect that Macca was not very good at, a good shot stopper, but their more to goalkeeping than just stoping shots.
Crocombe is around better goalie than Macca.

Crocombe is a revelation to be fair, he commands his box and removes some of that pressure towards the end of a game.

Didn’t see the match today but plenty of town fans at the wedding I was at and to be fair, we weren’t too disheartened at the 1-0 score line given how far the club has come. A polite ripple and ‘get in’ was heard when the second went it and it seems a Paul
hurst away masterclass ensued.

Yes, we probably need to start better but it’s a great thing to support s team that never gives in.

Town had an off day for me and still won.
Imagine what we will do when we play well all game.
Someone’s in for a battering.
