So please forgive my stupidity, but, can someone please cut through and tell me (us)….
Can I watch the Orient game online? If so, how?
If not, can I listen to radio commentary? If so, how?
Many thanks in advance

Ok.
You want to watch the game. You need to be outside the UK to do so and then subscribe to one of these packages, be it the season pass or the monthly pass.
MARINERS TV PACKAGES
SEASON PASS (INTERNATIONAL) – £140 (£170 from 1st September)
Live streams of every* one of our League Two and Papa John’s Trophy games Audio commentary of every competitive game Access to the exclusive Mariners TV video content
MONTHLY PASS (INTERNATIONAL) – £25
Live streams of every* one of our League Two and Papa John’s Trophy games that month Audio commentary of every competitive game that month Access to the exclusive Mariners TV video content
If you're not outside the UK you can't watch it, without using a VPN. In simple terms your location is detected via your internet connection, let's think of it like an old school landline area code, it identifies where you're logging on. It'll show up roughly where you are. Be that Cleethorpes, Leeds, London, Aberdeen. A blocker will be in place to stop UK internet connections accessing the live screening of the game.
What a VPN does is it masks your internet location. You can choose where you want your internet location to be. If you were inclined to do so you could say you were in Belize, a place that's definitely outside the UK and would, again in theory, allow you access to the live streaming of game. For all sense and purposes you would be classed as an overseas fan.
If you're a UK based fan and you don't want to access via a VPN, then you're looking at radio commentary. If you can get Radio Humberside (DAB or FM) from where you are, then you're in luck. It's as simple as finding which frequency Town are on that week and off you go. If you're further afield, it's one of these packages for you.
AUDIO SEASON PASS (UK) – £45
Audio commentary of every competitive game Access to the exclusive Mariners TV video content
AUDIO MONTHLY PASS (UK) – £4.50
Audio commentary of every competitive game that month Access to the exclusive Mariners TV video content that month
Hope this helps.

Disclaimer: I'm no way advocating the use of a VPN for any such purposes!

It used to be. I watched lots of matches when I was travelling for work on iFollow and never had a problem with my card address being UK
