Did anyone hear the tale about the two lads (I won't name and shame them) who unfurled a protest banner off one of the A180 bridges, which should have read "Bill Carr. The Grim Reaper"?

It was only on inspection that it dawned on the "brains of the operation" that his accomplice had failed to include the first e in the word Reaper, resulting in him quickly removing the banner while berating his hapless stooge.

A slapstick scene of comedic incompetence which could have graced Phoenix Nights!

I’m confused to be honest, does having a few quid not mean you’re an ordinary fan?

Folk choose to sit in a box, that’s their choice, I’ve done it, hated it but not sure it questions the credentials of a fan…

I've done the Executive Box viewing for 18 years, and loved every minute of it. Can't beat the meals and coffee and the lovey warmth and seating.
Tried going in the Upper Smiths for 1 season and to be honest I've never heard such a bunch of moaning minnies in my life.
Viewing from the comfy chairs this season. Thank goodness.

If you’ve ever been in any stand at Blundell Park it’s been in the Upper Bell End

Yes, the Upper Smith's, other stands are too low down to see anything,

Depends. You need to check with Morris Minor if you're an ordinary fan or not first.

Only ever had the experience of sitting in one of the boxes on one occasion, it was awful, totally devoid of any atmosphere whatsoever, and so detatched from what was going on on the pitch.
Much prefer to freeze my bullocks off in the upper, than look out on the world like a goldfish.

I mean that’s not true, perhaps your eyes can’t but your statement isn’t true…I assume you’ve never been to an away game either?

You enjoy your soulless experience and I’ll stick to what it’s actually about…
