I don't care how Scunny do. They had their time in the spotlight and now it's our turn.

I don't wish demise on any club.

I wish we were less obsessed with them. Our future is far more important than theirs.

I don't wish Swann on any club, either.

If they can get rid of him and somehow survive, I think they'll discover that the National League is a tricky proposition to get out of - if you're planning to go upwards.

Wasn't the easiest to get out of at the bottom end last season either. Dover and Weymouth were woeful and Kings Lynn were for a large proportion of last season too.

If they go down again, that's just as difficult to get promoted from too.

I'm baffled why they haven't signed James Mck - experienced head behind a young defence is way better than another youngster in goal. If they signed him and got Jake Butterfield that would steady the ship and help them to a lower mid-table finish. I'd like to see them suffer for a few years, but definitely not to the point of extinction...no way. And yes we should be focusing on Lincoln not Scunny...

I thought the potential of Jacob Butterfield looked a pretty stellar piece of business for them, given their circumstances. Clearly there’s a problem with him as he wouldn’t be on trial at such a basket case club otherwise, but on the surface I’d he’d have rocked up here a couple of weeks ago I’d have been relatively pleased. Very good pedigree.

Not sure they've actually landed him yet...

I seem to think we were linked with him 2-3 years ago but he spent last season at the second worst team in the SPL and before that in Australia which suggests to me he's on the wind down.

Back to McKeown, they've got a very good keeper in Dewhurst on loan. Regardless of what McKeown may have wanted wages wise, I doubt it would come close to what Dewhurst is costing who is an absolute coup for them. McKeown is running out of local options though as Scunny are now sorted, Boston have signed a promising keeper from Kettering and York signed Ethan Ross on loan from Stockport.

He was training with Matlock town last week. Really sad to see him go from being one of the best keepers in league 2 3/4 years ago to struggling to get a part time club now. Hope he gets fixed up soon.

Best keepers in league 2 3/4 years ago ? Not for me mate a better than average shot stopper combined with a below par commanding box , distribution for me never made him top drawer.
