What's the sizing like on the new shirts? Previously I've alway had to buy one 2 or 3 sizes larger than normal clothes.

I bought 1 size up Les and I think 2 sizes up wouldn’t have looked out of place.

Would help if they had kept one of each size to try on.  They didn't.

The 5XL would be pretty minging by the end of the day though, wouldn’t it?

Jesus always people complaining, you have no idea of the arrangements but always jump to the conclusion it’s the clubs fault. Give it a bloody rest ffs!

It's someone's fault.  I shouldn't moan though, who could predict that clubs all over country will have a new shirt for the season?

I think to blame someone or point a finger is a tad harsh. Even with our up turn in fortunes, I’d imagine when they placed the order they never expected to have a thousand folk turn out to buy the new shirt on release day.

There’s been an issue with trying stuff on at the club shop for years and it’s my understanding that they’re looking to fit some changing rooms etc.

I wonder if, after all these years, we’re now preprogrammed to moan about stuff the club do?

Simple fact is they’ve been caught out to some extent, we all knew that there’d be interest in tickets and shirts but nobody saw this coming, it’s taken everyone by surprise and it’s left some people disgruntled. I’m sure the club would admit they’d liked to have had more etc but sometimes it’s not that simple. If you want to blame someone then crack on but it won’t change anything and still seems a tad unfair.

It’s interesting though because I’ve literally not heard or seen anyone else complaining…

Please can someone measure one pit to pit and give some info for XL and XXL

(I’m XL in most shirts, but XXL in recent Town shirts so probably still about right)

I don't know if this helps but I usually have a 2X, but I bought a 4x in the old shirt which fitted me.

Thank you, yes, that does sound like maybe 2 sizes up needed for a “comfort” fit, as XL converts to around a 42” chest 🙂
