I'm hoping there is no truth in it but four clubs are chasing Mcatee, Peterborough, Bradford, Lincoln & Wrexham

Be a big loss if he is lured away

Never quite sure who to believe as a few people say different but I was told by somebody who’s usually there or there about, that Fox and McAtee have already signed.

Would cost whoever it is a substantial sum as he’s under contract. If we lost him for silly money then that’s how it goes and I trust Hurst to replace properly.

Well they’d have to pay a pretty decent fee I suspect as he’s under contract for another year, and potentially not available for start of season IF shoulder surgery is required as was suggested. Besides he may still be hungover until Xmas the way he’s partying ! He’s loved here, he’s been offered a new improved deal, we’re now at league two level and he’s obviously got a great relationship with hurst and Doig . I think he stays

I would like to think that under the new owners we wouldn't get raped like we have in the past and if he were to go it would be for a realistic fee, he must be worth 500k plus add ons etc
