The same source that confirmed Joe Sbarra would be resolved this week ( New contract or move on ) Still says Dallas could leave and we have definitely enquired.

If we are in talks with him and trying to “woo” him to come to us, posting his duck up and near miss in the biggest game of the season is a strange way to show it

It's funny how you see things differently.....I thought that was the goal that won Grimsby promotion rather than a clip of a Dallas mistake.

Hmmm, this may be a controversial view but I'd rather see us bringing 1st division players here than NL players. It worked very well for us in getting out of the NL by bringing in lads with L2 experience (and above).
There are arguments for and against.

He scored more goals than our top scorer in a team which finished 10 points above us in the table. Sounds like just the sort of player we should be looking at!

His record isn’t straightforward though, he only had 3 goals in the first half of the season before scoring 8 goals in 2 games then having a decent finish to the season. He also had 22 games at this level with Cambridge and scored twice.

Given he’s under contract we’d need to pay for him and Solihull evidently aren’t skint so it’d cost us a pretty penny for a player who for me, still has question marks.

Think almost all players have question marks against them at non league level, hence they’re non league players. With this lad, it’s almost like something just clicked midway through the season. Whether that being moved into his favoured position, getting properly fit, another player coming in that complimented him or got some confidence from somewhere. Whoever we sign, I trust Hursty’s judgement.
