Maidenhead and Boreham wood having nothing to play for  . I'm guessing a party atmosphere will soon give them a reason to park the bus

Boreham can still get 75 points, and the way Chesterfield are going they will not be giving up just yet. It all depends what happens on Saturday.  I can see Chesterfield losing at Torquay, and Boreham winning at Yeoville, which would mean they would be 4 points behind them with a game in hand. So everything still to play for.

Boreham have beaten Stockport and drawn with Wrexham in their last two games so it is going to be a tough game for us. But I think we must win it if we are to stand a chance of finishing 5th.

Trying to create a party atmosphere for two crucial home games is very odd imo . We've achieved nothing yet . If we'd already qualified for the play offs id understand it .

How could you possibly read that construe it in your own head as a celebration? They want to create a party atmosphere so that we can get to the playoffs, not because they think it's in the bag.

Hopeful for a result v Maidenhead
Not as Hopeful v BOrehamwood
We might fair better in play offs with multiple “Backs to the Wall” away games rather than the pressure of a big gate home game

Maybe it's to offset any tension and create a more positive atmosphere.

All this inflatables, fancy dress, priority for playoff talk is making my árse twitch something chronic. The squad have done well to get within touching distance of the PO’s but there’s plenty of scope for us to make an almighty böllocks of it yet. Maidenhead are no pushovers and Borehamwood clearly pose a threat. I don’t fancy going to Eastleigh needing to get a result to cement a place tbqfhwy.

It’s all a bit Hartlepool for me but I get what they’re trying to do.

Still, better than handing out cheap red hats for a project that was never more than a pipe dream…

To be fair, any hint of a party and Boris is there like a rat up a drainpipe.
