Hi,

Some of you will have been communicating with my Dad for many years, both on this forum and in some cases outside of this chat room. Dad had been fighting Cancer for the past six years and had defied the odds on numerous occasions, sadly on Tuesday 1st Feb he lost his fight. he passed very peacefully and I was able to be with him. I hope that I will be able to log in and view any responses.

Sorry for your loss.

Your father was quite a character. Others on The Fishy knew Roger far better than I did but, rest assured, he will be much missed on here and certainly never forgotten.

Mendelevski's Box did not receive the Pulitzer it deserved!

I've asked the Admins to move A Thread about Ipswin to The main football forum but for time being its on Non Football

very sad news posted from his Son in that Ipswin has passed away

Although not everyone agreed with him at times, he was a well respected poster on here and his input will be sadly missed.

Ipswin was certainly quite vocal at times in his opinions, espeically surrounding Hurst, but I am sure he was very vocal because he was very passionate about the club as we all are.

Matt I am very sorry for your loss. My condolences to you and your family.

As others have touched upon he was certainly a character and although I’m relatively new on the forum we had our disagreements. However, that is the beauty of forums like this for people who don’t want an echo chamber for their own opinions.
