With the unpredictable nature of indirect fire (IDF, ironically) it is possible that it was a misfired rocket. An Israeli politician tweeting soon afterwards in celebration of the IDF hitting a Hamas base probably rules that out though. Leave them to it I reckon. They’re well trained militarily. They can still buy weapons from us if they want to - we’re not obliged to give them any priority. It’s hard not to see them getting obliterated from all angles for the next few days now.

Yanks - 60-70% probability that it was Hamas ordnance

IDF - claim to have Hamas phone dialogue discussing the rocket misfire.

Hizbollah - kicking off mass protests saying it was an IDF atrocity.

Iranians - loving it…

Depends what it hit on the ground. Lots of compressed gases - especially oxygen - at hospitals.

The Israeli govt have spent the last week or so calling Palestinians “animals”, “children of darkness”, cutting off water and bombing convoys of civilians at the Rafah border after they’d just told them to head that way. The Israeli ambassador to the UK sat on Sky News and said there was “no humanitarian crisis” in Gaza and called Palestinian citizens nazis. It wasn’t long back an IDF sniper shot Shireen Abu Akleh, a journalist, in the head then publicly and loudly blamed “Palestinian gunmen”.

Suddenly we’re supposed to believe that Hamas killed 500 of their own citizens hiding or being treated in a hospital?
