Out of interest, how much did your team change from L1 to L2? Was it a case of bringing in a few players in key positions or was it a wholesale change? I guess the same question applies between your NL winning team and L2?

And they did it playing brilliant passing football which gave the lie to the fact that Slade was simply a hoofball merchant.

To keep the pedantry theme going, MK Dons are not a Phoenix club. They are the first iteration of that club. They didn’t exist before they got Wimbledon FC’s place in the League. They are not even a re-birth of the several MK clubs that previously existed.

Just read the Colchester chairman likes to tighten his belt regardless of league position, must have gone to the same school of club owners as Fenty. Let's hope the Colchester guy tightens it a bit more!
