Ben Richards Everton 6’5” central defender released by Bradford today.

Sounds just the ticket:

“He made 13 appearances this season but lasted just 29 minutes in what proved to be his final game at Oldham before being substituted after being at fault for both goals.”

Reminds me of the goalkeeper who was so depressed with his form that he decided to end it all by throwing himself in front of a bus.........but the bus went under him.

Give you that, best one of the day..........

We can't sign him. We can't afford the letters on his shirt.

When Town played Bradford at Valley Parade last season, Richards-Everton won everything in the air for 89 mins. Then we equalised, the pyrotechnics started and he looked like a startled squirrel on Bonfire Night.

His distribution was like a government awarded PPE contract too

I’ll have to take your word for it. I was there but it was one of those games where I’d slightly over indulged in the pre-match sherbets and remember very little of it of substance, other than Hendrie smashing it in at the end.

Cracking day out though. Underrated away day, Bradford. It’s definitely the thing I’ve missed most about the last 10 months (football, not Bradford).

The pressures of life thrust closer into our faces than ever, without the release that a day at the football brings. I can’t fúcking wait for it to return.
