My friend lives overlooking the main carpark, and in his words, today he has seen "two whippersnappers in smart clothes and driving nice cars park up and enter the big stand. They looked like footballers"

What exactly do footballers look like anyway? I know what they dont look like at the moment. Anyone wearing black and white stripes.

He still doesnt know the name of the 'big' stand btw

One mid-morning and one just after dinner.

The Barrett Stand? It wouldnt surprise me in the slightest. He has lived there for an eternity.

I wont put the words he used, as being elderly he still has a way to describe certain people, but one was of a lighter skin, the other, not so light.

Once I got my shirt, shorts, socks and boots on, I looked like a footballer, didn't stop me from being crap though, I only got a game when the team were down to 9 men.
