I went to England v San Marino at the old Wembley back in 1993. David Platt scored 4 and missed a penalty. Carlton Palmer & Les Ferdinand got the other 2 in a 6-0 win. I remember from back then that the San Marino goalkeeper was also their coach driver. So maybe if James McKeown did his category D they might be interested in him.

The San Marino authorities, much to the annoyance of their manager, refuse to accept players from the diaspora and will only select players born in San Marino.apparently there are a fair few half decent players who would qualify for them if the rules were relaxed

fair play and respect to them for that. There are some players that turn up to an international, and can't even speak the languish !

Through the door there came familiar laughter,
I saw your face and heard you call my name.
Oh my friend we're older but no wiser,

I suppose that reduces the risk of the goalie being thrown under a bus.

Watching the Scunts
They look a  lot better with Van veen

In his three stints as Grimsby Town manager spanning over 10 years the club was never relegated and he also guided them to three promotions.
Only 14 managers have reached 1,000 matches in charge of a Football League team by 1998 and Buckley is one of them.

Seeing as Town aren't playing thought I'd listen to the Scunny commentary on Humberside for a change (come on Oldham)

Has George Kerr given up co-commentating these days?

When Leeds trainer Les Cocker was once told Norman Hunter had broken a leg, he asked: “Whose is it?”
