Ollie's phone has probably stopped melting since he went public about only offering contracts with a Covid clause in them !!!

When Leeds trainer Les Cocker was once told Norman Hunter had broken a leg, he asked: “Whose is it?”

I'm sure there was a Telewag article saying that we won't be re-signing any of the released players.

Also, haven't we supposed to have signed Marcus Day? Seen nothing official though.

He said he wouldn't insult ex players and sign them on less money then they were before

Purely a guess but could a couple of signings tie in with the season ticket letters dropping thru the post Mon/Tue

I doubt it as this season there are less seats available than supporters wanting season tickets if the rumours are correct

I assume things are moving along under wraps & Ollie is being discreet at this stage.
It's still weird that it's all gone so quiet just a week before our first competitive game.
Ah well strange times - so be it.

This was my thinking to. Maybe the club have asked the media not to publish anything to avoid bringing any  attention to the trialists from other clubs?  No mention of tuesdays game in the press, on social media or radio humberside, so maybe they have obliged?

Hope the weather is better tomorrow than it is today, no chance a game could go ahead in these conditions.

"Three trialists involved in a similar match on Tuesday did enough to deserve another chance to impress, and will return for tomorrow’s game, along with a fresh batch of out-of-contract hopefuls."

Tuesday's BCD game could have been played anywhere, not just Cheapside or BP, even outside Grimsby and Cleethorpes.

Tomorrow's forecast doesn't look great either.
