I've never been more sure that a player was going to miss a penalty as I was right then.

My biggeat regret following Town is seeing every one of the five defeats at Wembley and Cardiff and none of the 3 Wembley wins.

You sure know how to pick ‘em!! If you fell into a bucket of t#ts......

Didn’t we lose to them away in the FA Cup a couple of seasons ago?

Did we?

If we did then that game must have been completely erased from my memory!

Now I've said it, I do not know where I've got that from!  Apologies, it looks like I've got that all wrong.

Probably wasting time and money going to the FA Trophy against Halifax on the back of promotion euphoria. Watched a team go through the motions after gaining promotion for PH and having no desire to do anything else for the club or fans.

A close second would be attending Tommy Forecast's home debut against Crewe and third convincing my family to go watch town on a cold boxing day to see them get hammered. My younger cousins  never had anything to do with GTFC again.

We got drawn away to them a few years ago when Slade was in charge of them, but we lost to Shrewsbury in a replay

Wimbledon? Micky Boulding and Alan Pouton hat tricks. Certainly the only Town 6-3 I can remember, there may have been more.

Yeah.  I thought that but when I checked head to head it wasn't there Cheers

Strangely we enjoyed it, the pressure was off. Had a couple of beers in The Torch (party atmosphere) with the Town fans and then went in early to watch underdogs Morpeth beat Hereford in the FA Vase.
The FA put a load of things on, had my photo taken with the FA Cup for free.
Even the coach braking down on the way back just outside Leicester didn't spoil the day, we'd won the big one a week earlier

When Leeds trainer Les Cocker was once told Norman Hunter had broken a leg, he asked: “Whose is it?”

I enjoyed the Trophy final...I mean, I guess that’s what happens after a team have been on the lash for a week.

I don’t think a single town fan there was truly arsed. We just had a party at Wembley, especially after the tension of the previous week, and euphoria.

Burton was arguably a mistake but it was one of those odd situations, we were always gonna go down and deserved to but I felt compelled to be at the game where it would happen. intercourse knows why. To this day I’ve never watched it back...I always said I would once we returned to the league but I haven’t.

I don’t fully regret it but it was flipping horrible that day...

I thought the trophy final was excrement for its atmosphere tbh. I expected a big party atmosphere but just didnt seen to happen. But ah well, we did the one we wanted week earlier
