I was dating a lass who was a 7th day Adventist.  I took her back to Gy for  the weekend.  They have their sabbath on a Saturday, so my idea was to drop her off and go to the game.  She didn't wanna be alone, so I went with her.  I think we won 6-3. I can't remember who it was against. Gutted but lesson learnt.

Wimbledon? Micky Boulding and Alan Pouton hat tricks. Certainly the only Town 6-3 I can remember, there may have been more.

Deciding to go to game rather than stay in the pubs on the day Halifax pumped us in the conference and Toto got abused.

My biggest regret was going to Braintree when we lost  5-0

Never felt so low following town before and gleefully since.

I also regretted going when we drew 0-0 year of play off win, probably worse game of football on worse pitch I have ever witnessed.

Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day, teach a man to fish and you give him an excuse for him to escape from the wife and kids for the weekend and drink lots of beer.

I can remember us beating Cardiff 6-3 at home too. 84/85 season. It was the last time we played Cardiff I think.

My Mate is a Halifax fan and we wind each other up. We were due to go to the home game that season but I had a bit of a cold and just didn't fancy the 3 hour round trip so we binned it off.

He just switched his phone off when we won 7-0 , Id have love to have had that 90 minutes followed by the hour and half ripping it out of him.

Wimbledon was 6-2. The only 6-3 I can remember was at Watford and we lost!

To be fair to Nick Dale he promised me I would be kept updated by him about the incident as the club were going to take it further.

I've heard nothing and this all happened well before the pandemic.

From what I understand from talking to the ladies in the shop after this happened and was posted on here, the Club did formally complain to the EFL about COMSEC! And tell COMSEC that they was not welcome.

Issues with COMSEC were common at lots of grounds last season where the Club had no say over how they behave or single out supporters whom are apparently illegally data scouting! Looking into this it’s all about the EFL and COMSEC trying to protect the betting markets for their sponsors by banning all rival organisations, by saying that this is a licensed activity, where the EFL is the licensing body!!
