Average points per game is a decent idea because it is based on what has happened rather than what might happen, so is a bit more watertight. But legal action will be inevitable, especially from those relegated from the prem.

BTW, I don’t think champions league will be an issue as I doubt it’ll go ahead. Two big European football tournaments in one season, whilst a virus is still kicking around?

Yeah if there’s not Chumps League there’s one less reason for the also rans in the Big Five countries to whinge.

We’ve played enough games to go for ppg average , the season should be finished now for safety reasons and league table tables stamped into history. Can’t see how legal action by any clubs would be worth doing

Personally I would award PSG the Prem title as well. Save a lot of hassle.
