Today, PSG have been awarded the title, relegation and promotion between top two League decided by average points per game.

Think this opens up the floodgates for ending the season around Europe other than top leagues who have massive TV deals.

Suits me. Stevenage relegated. Barrow and Harrogate promoted.

Can’t argue with that, enough games completed for a maths based formula to be a fair gauge to go by

My preferred option, maybe factor in results since January, the last transfer window, and current form( suits Town W7 D3 L4 I think).

Lyon are already taking the league to court as they've missed out on playing in a European competition for the first time in over twenty years.

There's no way to decide this that's going to keep everybody happy. Too many teams still with a chance of promotion and relegation for that to happen

Still none of the major leagues have made a decision...cash is clearly the issue but also a threat of legal action I guess. As mentioned Lyon are already going through that process.

The Lazio president suggested a shoot out between them and Juve for the title as they’ve already beaten them twice and Inter and Atalanta are too far away, if you base it on form. Again, a logical idea but unlikely for a number of reasons, one being Juve’s penchants for bribery and corruption, there’s zero chance lazio win. Again, the remainder of the league becomes an issue. Hellas Verona are places well to qualify for Europe, Samp/Genoa in the midst of a relegation battle and on top of that, some teams have said they’d refuse to play as it’s no longer important.

As for the premier league, it’ll be about money. The sentiment is great and we’d all love football back but it’s simply not that easy. I know scousers would cry and moan and play the victim, again, but the simple solution in the UK is to void the season. I appreciate that affects more than just Liverpool, Leeds, Crewe, Swindon etc will miss out, and equally Stevenage who were awful won’t go down even if they deserve it but trying to play on is just ridiculous.

Void the season, extend pre season and aim for a September/October start with the removal of the pointless checkatrade competition, throw a few more mid weeks in and start again.

To be fair they could have awarded PSG the french league last August before it started.
Anything will do for me as long as Stevenage go down. I also wondered if they could come up with something like the Duckworth Lewis method that takes current form into consideration, not that I'm looking for town to get any favours and edge into the play offs.
