Rod Green was bloody hard. Last I heard of him he was doing time for armed robbery (I think).

Alan Pouton/ Steve Livingstone (hardest)

Nick 'I'm Ducking Out Of That Header' Hegarty (wimpiest)- who I've just discovered is managing an Australian second-tier side called Hume City FC!

What about those tough centre-half’s in the 1960s and 1970s who wore short-sleeved shirts (and no gloves) when we had really cold winters?

You mean Graham (Basil) Rathbone?

Nails would bend at the sight of him.

He did time for smuggling wacky baccy from S Africa (nicked at Southampton) whilst playing for Durban United many years ago. Sadly he died in 2018 after running an antiques shop in Bradford for many years He had dementia just like his strike partner the great Sir Matt

No competition where Bobby Cumming's concerned. Dean Crombie and Chris Nicholl never pulled out of tackle
s, Stuart Gray too.

No attempt at ethical or social seduction can eradicate from my heart a deep burning hatred of the Tory party. So far as I'm concerned they're lower than vermin. Aneurin Bevan.

Tilly was a wimp, he never got stuck in one kick and he would go missing the rest of the game

I don't mind Roy Keane making £60,000 a week. I was making the same when I was playing. The only difference was I was printing my own - Mickey Thomas

The area you are trying to protect at corners is the goal - Chris Kamara

Bobby C, Futchenstein and Livvo for me - too many wimps over the years to name one.

Gavin Gunning, I would never ever want to be going into a 50/50 challenge with him! Ok maybe not the hardest player but he's got a screw loose and wouldnt think twice about snapping someone's legs

Hardest I've seen in my lifetime is a toss-up between Justin Whittle and Livvo, unfortunately I've seen far more soft players in my time supporting Town! Seem to recall Aswad Thomas backing out of plenty of tackles for a full-back,
