What has he ever done???
If he was as good as some say why has he never been picked up by another club??
If he is Fentys next disaster in waiting I will never go to BP again.


In his three stints as Grimsby Town manager spanning over 10 years the club was never relegated and he also guided them to three promotions.
Only 14 managers have reached 1,000 matches in charge of a Football League team by 1998 and Buckley is one of them.

Maybe he has been approached but because he's Macc through and through he didn't want to leave.  This recent disagreement with the owners could have changed his mind.

I had never heard of him till last week. However he has taken Macc to the top of the league it took us 6 years to get out of with Hurst and that was only via the play offs. He has a very small budget, and he must know a lot of up and coming players from the National League that he might like to sign.

If it is him I am sure most fans would wish him well. Unfortunately we are not in a position to pick and choose a top, top manager but then I cannot remember when we ever have been to be honest.

Perhaps we will know more tomorrow.

Why should we give a bloke a chance who has done nothing in his managerial career????

If we are going down the cheep as chips route with a non league manager at least get someone who has won something.
Marcus Newell comes to mind.

Winning the NCEL is definitely more worthy of managing a L2 team than being top of the league below on a shoestring budget.
