I know there's a thread but I wanted to keep the details of the match separate from the Fenty debate:

The game will kick off at 7:15pm on Tuesday night, taking place at St Christopher's in Humberstone.

We have managed to secure floodlighting for the game which will prevent any concerns about the light.

We also have Bar Bubbles down who will be serving craft beers and prosecco from their converted horse trailer.

In addition to donations 'on the gate' we will be selling raffle tickets for a variety of GTFC related prizes.

So far we are heading towards £1000 raised - before costs. But we still want more.

The more we raise and the more people attend on the night the more we can highlight our boycott after the game and show what it means to the fans.

If you are planning to attend, please download a ticket from this website - it will allow us to accurately log our attendance:

https://internet-mariners.yapsody.com

Alternatively , if you can't attend but would like to donate then please go to:

https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/checkourtirade

All donations are appreciated large or small. If you have any items you would like to donate to the raffle, please message me.

Finally, if you feel like the club may be financially hit by the boycott then please do purchase something for the club shop - non of us want a struggling GTFC!

Thanks again for all of your support so far and over the coming days.

Biggles, this is a fantastic thing you and the other organisers are doing. It deserves a lot of publicity not just Town and Donny but across the country. I'm sure it'd inspire others to do the same.

Another thing that makes me proud to be a Mariner.

We are trying Kingston

It has been retweeted by Stand magazine, the FSF and was also covered by various local newspapers such as the Telegraph, Clee Chronicle and Doncaster Star.

We also had a little bit of coverage in the Daily Mail too - as the League 2 heroes of the week.

Hopefully our example will lead the way for other clubs mind.

To add to the above we will also have a raffle drawn on the night.

Prizes include tickets for the Mansfield game and a selection of ales.

They will be available to purchase during the first half, with the prizes drawn straight after the game.

If anyone has any prizes that they would like to donate it would be appreciated and will all go straight into the charity pot.

True fans will be at Blundell Park, supporting their Club. If you feel that you need to protest, do it with the EFL, don't hit your own club. I think you'll find that other clubs have caught on that the premier league aren't interested and have stopped protesting. Hopefully the penny will drop  . . .  eventually.

I don't think you've been paying much attention to the rationale given for the boycott and the fans' match have you?

Put simply, the boycott is in the long term interests of the club.

DO NOT FEED THE TROLL.

The wife was going away for a girly weekend.
I jokingly remarked  'I don't know whether to spend it watching porn or watching football'
'you may as well spend it watching porn' she replied
That's understanding darling what makes you say that? I asked

She said 'Well you already know how to play football'

It's all about devaluing the product, what don't you get.

Supporting the Mighty Mariners for over 30 years, home town club is were the heart and soul is and it's great to be a part of it.

Because when B Teams are introduced to the league pyramid it will be unfashionable football clubs like Grimsby Town that lose their place.

Any Town fan that attends these games is a turkey voting for Christmas.

Tell you what, anyone worried the club will lose money. Go down to blundell park tomorrow at around 5pm and buy yourself a scarf and a few bits then head down to St Christopher's to watch Internet Mariners. Grimsby don't lose out on any money and you help to show we will not let these B teams come into our leagues. People need to see it long term, the more we accept the more chance they'll come into the leagues and we'll be knocked down a few divisions playing flipping Leeds B team on a Tuesday night followed by Barrow at home in front of Sub 3,000 fans.

I'll tell you what. I boycotted the games last year and spent the money in the club shop. This year the club will not get a single penny from me. JF has declared we still make money through sucking Shaun Harvey's knob. So he can have it.
I will be attending the boycott match despite Fentys best efforts to fcuk it up and will buy £20.00 worth of raffle tickets for a GOOD CAUSE.

Today is finally the day! We've been working long and hard on this game to make sure we make a statement but also to raise a lot of money for charity.

Please come along tonight, enjoy the game and dig as deep as you can. Everything we raise after costs will go straight to the charities.

Our only request is that pyros, smoke bombs etc are not brought along. We are not covered for any incident that may relate to these items and would be liable as the organisers.

Definitely do bring banners, inflatables and your signing voices though!

Don't forget that you can still donate tonight's game if you would like to help us make a statement but can't attend:

Well we've 'sold' 70 tickets.

But I'm hoping there's going to be a lot more than that down as I know quite a few people saying they're coming without having tickets.

If we can reach 200 people there with everyone donating £5 we would reach around £1600 raised

Just to extend our final thanks to everyone who donated, supported, watched or played in the game.

We still have the justgiving page open for another couple of weeks as we have some post game coverage taking place so a confirmed total will be released soon - but early days suggest that we have comfortably passed £1200 after all costs have been accounted for.

There were 161 fans in attendance and a peak audience of 886 watching the game online. This is a fantastic statement of intent regarding the boycott and both teams would like to see other fan groups pick up the mantle and run their own matches.

To those who watched the game, I hope you enjoyed a the flowing high quality of football on show......enjoyed a beer at the side of the pitch and made the most of your night!

Am I right in thinking whatever was happening at Blundell Park wasn't on iplayer or whatever it is.. If so doesn't the proper game at St Christopher's have more viewers?

How did they watch on line Biggles? And will the same be available for the next Checkourtirade match?

We put a live stream out over twitter.

Afraid that we wont be able to run it again for our next match, as much as we would love too. We had to call the game early because of the lights and to rent stronger floodlighting would cost too much.

Unless we have a particularly big benefactor out there.

Whats Mike Parker doing these days?

As far as we are aware our 'audience' between in person and online was more than the combined total watching the game at BP.

Could you not just hire the full Bradley 3G pitch as a private booking and play on there ? If a couple of hundred people just happen to turn up to watch thats not your fault
Fully floodlit, decent facilities.

Cheers Biggles. I suppose I'll have to join the modern world and get the Twitter. Eventually.

Through the door there came familiar laughter,
I saw your face and heard you call my name.
Oh my friend we're older but no wiser,
For in our hearts the dreams are still the same.
