Well from my point of view ie cloudy eyed nostalgia Grimsby v Portsmouth is a proper traditional fixture for 3pm on a Saturday afternoon and they are like it or lump it the biggest Club in League 2 by a mile.I just thought with in excess of 1k of them coming they would have been on here for some banter

they have sold,half of their 1300 allocation currently. Can see them bring 1000 in total.

They had sold 916 yesterday morning at 11am according to Lisa in the GTFC ticket office.

That was at Fratton Park, towards the end of the 78/79 season I think. We were both near the top of Division Four at the time. We were promoted as runners-up at the end of the season but I think they missed out. It was towards the end of John Newman's tenure I think as George Kerr took over the following season. I remember Fordy scored at least one of the goals.

I have seen this guy in full flow. 2010 FA Cup Final. He was that pisssed that his photographer had to stand him against the pub wall whilst he was charging people £10 to have their photos taken alongside the Pompey Legend! Turned up 20 minutes into the game and could hardly stand. True legend!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
