I think we'll sign Dan Druff
I don't .. I hear he can be a bit flaky.

Hurst whatever his faults definitely gets more right than wrong when it comes to bringing in better quality players and I just hope the vast majority of us have the patience to wait and see because I have heard names that have made me

He's made a few howlers though but in his defence he's tried to bring in a few who wouldn't come for one reason or another. It would have been easier to judge him on his preferred players as opposed to back up ones

I know it's important to have a strong squad with some depth, but even at this stage I'm looking at someone like Rhys Browne and wondering if he'll be anything more than a bit-part player who will leave us next summer.
Do we really need four new players? If so, it'll only nudge those who aren't playing even further out of the scene, and then you wonder why they were brought in.

Venney and Clifton could do worse than go on loan to N Ferriby if feasible

I know what you mean, Vose and Brown seem a little cast aside without any real chance already...Brown in particular...and i really rate Brown, thought he was a standout player last season...just hope the more the pressure builds on Hurst that he doesnt regress further towards defensive minded players that work hard and defend first and cut out any flair at all. Venney looked pretty good in pre season but i doubt he will get a chance outside of the old johnstones paint trophy. Hurst has had a habit of building a squad but then not using a fair proportion of it, choosing to rely on the loan system throughout the year, i think we had 6 in before Christmas last season (if memory serves me)...not this year Paul.

I can never understand why a manager brings a loan player in and then hardly plays him, If we are not paying his wages is the only reason one would keep him on the bench I suppose. I am not saying Vose should be in the team , I have not seen enough of him to say that.

Andy Little anybody ?
Good record in Scotland for Rangers in league 2 and league 1 which admittedly is a poor level, never quite worked out for Preston North End but surely he's worth a gamble?
