Who broke the news initially about Vernon? Who identified him first? Who commented at h-t that he and Bogle had linked up well

Wasnt anyone of the fishy but the much maligned Telewag reporter!!

Saw enough of him Wednesday to see he had the positioning style of Podge with a bit of (for the better) strength and nastiness.

I was fortunate enough to miss that game. It was on a Sunday I think and I'd been over to The Isle Of Wight for a few days and we were driving back. We had Radio 5 on and they were giving regular updates and everytime they went back there was another goal. When they said "And there's been another goal at Boundary Park" they didn't say who for until they went over to the reporter, so I was always thinking we would have got one!
