There can only be a few players, at what used to be called the veteran stage of their career, with us for just twelve months, who made a bigger impact. A model of consistency even though he began to run 'dry' towards the end of the season....hardly surprising after 40+ games"

I've moved my Missus into a retirement home today,she wasn't very happy and wanted to know why at the age of 42. I explained I needed to make room for a couple of GTFC players moving to the area. So Ben Davis,his wife Leasey and Danny Andrew and his Columbian friend can move in any time they wish.

This would be where his age comes into it. Players fitness can alter as the year goes on and of course with age injuries take more time to heal. The lad may be fit as a flea now but Hurst is ever cautious isn't he?
