It would be a pretty big favour to do a mate - 'No worries, we'll spunk £5million away on your football club despite the fact that you haven't put anything like that kind of money in yourself'.

Should add that if it was Town announcing this I'd be ecstatic but probably slighty uneasy as well.

Maybe Kim Gee, Verity Whatshername, the fat kid out of G4 and the dancer who went out with Ginger Spice are busy finalising a similar deal for GTFC.

Sound like another Notts County, could be wrong though.....if only we couild get Conoco, Total and the other big buwsinesses to invest in GTFC and Grimsby as an area

Seems they are an American company who have links with another that specialise in astroturf pitches. Wonder if they will be getting one?

The worring thing is that this Blue Sky company barely seems to exist and only has 2 members of staff!

Don't think that there are many clubs from Championship down who would not appreciate investment of this amount going in, but after Digital TV collapsed, all clubs will want to have proof of names behind the company involved and any investment cheques legally cleared prior to going out and spending "new" money.

Having said all that, what a lucky club if it comes off for them !
