Is it finally the hitmans day today?

I really bloody hope so, I'm making a prediction for Hearn to score 2 today and to keep firing them in until November when our run will eventually come to an end

Hope he scores and it gets him going because the 2 games I saw him play I wasn't over impressed, too easily outmuscled and not that much pace either.

Odds on him not scoring? Hayes & Yeading are a half-decent team. Yas should know that by now.

Hearn has been subbed twice in his town career.  One time against Newport when I think he picked up an injury and one other time after 88mins which indicates that he'll be around at the end of the game when he can really rack up some player 'goal mins' with Sporting Index.  Spencer, on the other hand, is unlikely to still be on the pitch toward the end of the game.

Kick on Hearn!!

If anything I thought it would have been the other way round ?
Personally can't see him starting - just my guess though.

If a player doesn't start the game then a player goal minute trade with Sporting Index is void.

If both players start do you honestly think that Spencer will spend, on average, more mins on the pitch than Hearn?

He's 17 with Sporting Index.com

I've put one of the biggest bets I've done on Grimsby Town with £10 (17 x £10 = £170) I am very confident he'll do the business this afternoon

Are we any closer to getting promoted since Hurst has been here? No

Has he been given time to achieve promotion by the chairman and fans? Yes

He missed a glaring header early on but played very well and brought countless saves from the keeper. Then Bradley Wood scores a flukey goal with the keeper making a howler.Just the way it goes.

How much bottom licking is going on here, 8 games as a striker and hasnt scored none. It doesnt take a rocket scientist does it! Forget hitman lets call him shitman, hes missed 4 chances in 8 games that most sunday league players would bag. Lets here it for Duffy, at last seasons final game and he was booed, now he is a hero. Have you actually seen him play? Or are you deluded? Ok, he hasn't scored, but that doesn't mean he is excrement, his performances have been good, and he got MOM yesterday.

The Hitman played ace yesterday and was very unlucky, the best I have seen him tbh and that's not even a fraction of what he is capable of.

Agreed. I thought Hearn looked very strong. He looked to be putting himself in all the right places to get shots but just seemed unlucky. I'm sure once he gets one or two in, it'll get the ball rolling for more

Hearn is a class act, they are not going in for him at the moment,

BUT

When he gets his 1st goal at Stockport his second will come in the same game,

He will score 20 by the end of the season,

His last in the play off final.

Those saying he is rubbish did not see him play yesterday, if they had seen him they would have been mightily impressed. So he did not get on the scoresheet but apart from his ealy header which went wide, he put every other effort on target and they were either saved by the keeper or blocked by defenders on the line. Not to mention the fact that he created both of Duffy's tap ins. Get real

Who can afford NOT to be there on the day / night that Liam Hearn starts to score prolifically for GTFC ? ?

This thread will explode with the "I told you so's", and I still think that he will hit over 20 goals over the season!

Town fans are so boring sometimes, its like we get a kick out of slating our own players.

Rooney went so many games without scoring from open play, doesn't make him a excrement player.

From what I've seen of Hearn I like the look of him, I'd be worried if he wasn't getting into scoring positions.

Hope he bags soon. UTM!
