I could be wrong and if I am I'll hold my hands up but I'm fairly certain that I read it on here and I know a Mansfield supporting friend of mine said he was lazy and had a poor attitude.

Didn't want to start a new thread incase there was any moaners, although I thought it was worthy of a new one.

"It may not be a direct replacement; it may be a different type of striker who fits in with the 4-3-3 formation we like." - Hurst in today's telegraph.

Not long ago he said something along the lines of "5 strikers to compete for 2 places". So, change of heart? Looks like we may now be playing 4-3-3? I guess that's what pre-season is for.

I actually think we should start I'anson today, don't want him slipping back into a fringe player mindset. Him and Garner, with Pearson coming on at half time

I think it is hard to disagree with that lineup. Spencer sounds a solid hardworking target man/forward. Hearn sounds prolific and I think Coulson has earnt his position in the starting line up.

Midfield will be an interesting one. Wood and Thanoj will certainly be pushing for a place. The only guaranteed starter is probably Disley though apparently Church is very vocal which could come in handy.

I think that is a very solid line up, even without Connell. Good backup up front and I'd be pretty confident of challenging for the league.
