Morrisons have a couple of my favourites on offer at the minute - Suffolk Springer and Old Speckled Hen. Think they are £1.29 a bottle. Also they are currently selling bottle of "Wyre Piddle" ale at £1 a bottle which is quite nice too.

Cant go wrong with Theakstons Old Peculier for a nice dark beer, Marstons Double Drop for a lighter one, tried a real nice one from Asda cant remember the brewery but the beer was Sleck Duster i think, not to be confused with Sneck Lifter which is itself a nice drop.

Fursty Ferret is a good one too, think they do that at Morrisons as well.

Talking of Tom Woods DON'T for heavens sake buy Jolly Snowman it's for the quantity market not the quality market. The sort of stuff the John Smith's Smooth drinkers consume by the gallon. UGH.

Rhythm and Booze, 127 Grimsby Road, just past the ground going towards Cleethorpes.

They have a good selection of Real Ales.

Get your dad something local, Tom Woods (as already mentioned) or Bateman's, their Christmas beer is called 'Rosey Nosey' and is a lovelly warming drink for the festive period.

Woof, Woof!

Who said anything about me getting drunk?

I've got a barrel of Brandy under my chin for when I want to get tanked up, but Real Ale is my normal drink of choice.

Woof, Woof!
