Yes support a local firm, but Bateman's don't do an XXB.

They have a strong ale called XXXB (Tripple XB) and a cooking bitter called XB, the later isn't bottled but sold in cask form only.

Netto have a decent selection of beers including a nice mix of Marston bottles x4 in a box 4 quid and 4Wychwood ales for a fiver

timmy taylor landlord is the finest pint available for me, ive never really had the bottled stuff though.

They do lots of bottles for a pound in there from the Barnsley Brewery or something, havnt tried any of them as they look decidedly dodgy. they have in the past stocked Otter Brewery ' Beautiful Daze' which is quite a nice pint.If you can get to a co-op they have a local producer section which they have stocked brews from the Fuglestow(?) brewery at Fulstow, they are pretty decent too.



You're right,the Barnsley Brewery stuff is gash.Best one i've had this Chrimbo is St Peters organic ale.
