But God is just a word and has too many negative conotations for too many people. (Mostly Religion's fault!)
I have little truck with religion, it's just a pointer to the Truth. As is Newtonian physics (It's only matter that matters. PAH!) manly a pointer against the Truth.
"God" is the infinite creative intelligence behind every single thing in the universe.
As Quantum physics (infinite possibilities) will assist in eventually proving, there is no "God" out there who is going to save you. YOU (and everything else) is part of what makes "God," and therfore it's all down to YOU!

If there was no space, no time, no matter or anti matter,

What the hell went BANG ?

Random particles of matter that apparently just "appeared" from the nothingness... And when 2 appeared at the same instant, at the same point, ka-boom.. Apparently.
Difficult to comprehend...

From stars that had previously existed but had come to the end of their life. But that doesn't explain how the very first star came into existence.
