awful band...bottled it at glasto the other year when asked to take the headliner slot and whats all the silly costumes and that all about...i know people who have seen them a few times and they said festival performances suit them because they can play their 'better' songs because people only know the singles etc.

their new album is poor too...mind you the new arctic monkeys album is gonna be very underwhelming and disappointing.

as for kasabian...genius

I could see where you were coming from until you mentioned Kasabian.....

The aim of argument or discussion should not be victory but progress.

I can only speculate that your musical collection consists of The Crazy Frog Greatest Hits, The Best of William Shatner, Techno-Trance Volume 57 and a Kasabian record.

kasabian are the best british band currently and they seem to have the same effect as marmite, love em or hate em...the fact is, their live show is fanatastic whether you like em or not

agreed, the best british band around at the moment, they seem to get better with every album, and every live show

I really liked the killers when they came out and one day they will release a top greatest hits album which I will probably, for me they are a good singles band and a poor albums/live band.

But as you say, its all about opinion and debate.

Me too. I doubt they're ever going to top Mr. Brightside. They sure haven't yet!

But if they do I want to write the headline.

"KILLERS TOP MR BRIGHTSIDE"

Ba-dum !

The wife was going away for a girly weekend.
I jokingly remarked  'I don't know whether to spend it watching porn or watching football'
'you may as well spend it watching porn' she replied
That's understanding darling what makes you say that? I asked

She said 'Well you already know how to play football'

Elbow looked quality last night. Shame none of the crowd (who all looked about 15) seemed to know any of their pre-'Seldom Seen Kid' tracks.

Elbow are supporting U2 in Sheffield in August. I'll be there, not knowing many of their tracks
