Anyone watched any of it. The Killers: Absolutely extraordinary performance. 80,000 singing along. Best musical experience of the summer so far for me.....

Also picked up Nick Cave on the blue button. Memories!!

Totally agree there, in fact I thought the same last year at Glastonbury (or was it 2 years ago?). BF is effortless almost Mercury-esque at times, and the lead guitarist would give The Edge a run for his money!

Live shows don't always come across too well on the box, so imagine what it must be like to see them in the flesh?

I've never seen the killers doing their own show but I have seen them at a number of festivals over the years, seen them doing a variety of slots on the second stage early in the day at T in the Park to headlining the main stage at Reading and each time I have seen them I have to say Ive been completely underwhelmed.

I'd echo that and add I was particularly surprised to hear people say they found Flowers charismatic and a great front man. I personally think he's a bit of a wet blanket with a very ropey voice.

That made me titter. You should be a music journo!  I'm very new to them. In fact apart from a couple of their singles last night was the first time I'd really seen much of them. It IS all about opinions and would have been surprised if lots of people shared my view. I was impressed enough to buy a couple of albums off e-bay today.

He did seem to get a bit out of breath actually. I put it down to all the jumping about he did!

awful band...bottled it at glasto the other year when asked to take the headliner slot and whats all the silly costumes and that all about...i know people who have seen them a few times and they said festival performances suit them because they can play their 'better' songs because people only know the singles etc.

their new album is poor too...mind you the new arctic monkeys album is gonna be very underwhelming and disappointing.

as for kasabian...genius

I really liked the killers when they came out and one day they will release a top greatest hits album which I will probably, for me they are a good singles band and a poor albums/live band.

But as you say, its all about opinion and debate.
