Not seen it yet, but without commentary I can't see how it's worth watching. I normally skip the studio sections so couldn't care less about Lineker, Shearer and Wright. But they need to sort it out. Difficult situation though, feels like Lineker needs to go or else the BBC have no authority whatsoever over their employees. If that means everybody else leaves then I wouldn't care.


Lineker isn't an employee of the BBC...he's contracted on a freelance basis.

To be honest with you I think Gary Linekar is a lucky man. He's been blessed with footballing ability and then earns millions by presenting the game when his career finishes in comfortable surroundings. There's people out there in the world that are working in really tough conditions just to make ends meet. I give you a example. I was in Spain in the south and saw  South American migrant workers working in nearly 40 degree heat in August working in construction just to make ends meet. Think a few in this country could learn from them.

Huge credit to the work ethic shown by these people . One of the images that will stay with me for as long as I live. Huge daily sacrifice to provide for their families 👏.



Yeah, there was absolutely no hard work put in at all to become one of the best strikers in English football history.
