Congratulation to the lucky 4,621 who have secured tickets for the Brighton game. I’ve spent the last week wrestling with whether or not I should try and get one. My head’s been saying the logistics and cost of a what is a 700 mile round trip makes no sense, but my heart wouldn’t allow me not to try. Nobody reflects on the 1939 quarter-final we won, but on the glory of reaching the semi-final despite losing 5-0 - that’s the game you would have wanted to be at.
I haven’t got a ticket, and yes I’m disappointed, but partly relieved, firstly because of the logistics, but also that I’m not denying someone who in all honesty deserves to be there more than I do. I now know, as most of us will, where I’m going to be watching the game and can start to look forward to it.
So to all those who have a ticket, sing your hearts out whatever the outcome, enjoy the experience and do the club proud.

GO ..AND HAVE NO REGRETS IN LIFE! I Went to bed and slept on it , come mid morning "Knickers I am going and paid to go hospitality!" Money is not everything in life and the usual phrases . Yesterday i was annoyed come jealous of the "4621 Club" like i have 2 regrets in life 1.Not seeing Queen live when i was a kid. 2.Not have a Hot Air Balloon in ZImbabwe, near Victoria Falls while serving in the army . Both scenarios down to Financial circumstances!! My choice not to have another regret as this is a once in my lifetime chance (I am 56) to see " Town" in a quarter final ... Your call UTM

When we last played in the quarter finals I was probably bawling my head off as a wee bairn living, coincidentally, in Constitutional Ave, just yards from the old stand.
I'm hoping a week on Sunday these old lungs can do just the same at the Amex !

and I'm thinking of the cost of a ticket for the final. I'm already planning on sucking up to people to cover my classes.
